Take the Südbahn (Southern Railway) to Payerbach-Reichenau station, from there it is only a short 300 metre walk to the Höllentalbahn: The easiest access to the Höllentalbahn station is via the northwestern end of platform 2/3 (if you are coming from Vienna, just continue in the direction of travel), even if from a distance it looks like there is no way out. From platform 1 or the car park, use the subway to platform 2/3 (lifts are available).
Trains from Vienna or Wr. Neustadt run hourly to Payerbach on weekends, sometimes even more frequently. Trains from Mürzzuschlag via Semmering run every two hours. To plan your itinarary please use one of the following services: ÖBB-Scotty, VOR-anachb.at
Use motorway S6 to get to Gloggnitz and take the exit there (coming from Vienna take motorway A2 and change to S6 at Seebenstein). Then follow the national road B27 direction „Höllental“. In Payerbach, turn right at the traffic lights to the ÖBB railway station. There are usually enough parking spaces at the Park&Ride car park there at weekends. As the car park is close to platform 1 of the ÖBB station please follow the directions given above.
For detailed surrounding maps of all our stations please visit the corresponding german page.
